Sense strand vs antisense strand of DNA
H5N1 deoxyribonucleic acid molecule has a double stranded structure. It consists of 2 strands. Based on the strand that serves every bit template for mRNA formation or transcription, 1 strand is called the feel strand as well as the other is called the antisense strand.
Sense strand
1. This strand is likewise called every bit coding strand, addition strand or non-template strand.
2. Coding strand is same every bit mRNA except that thymine inwards deoxyribonucleic acid is replaced past times Uracil inwards RNA.
3. The coding strand contains codons.

Antisense strand
1. This strand is likewise called every bit non-coding strand, minus strand or template strand.
2. This strand acts every bit template for the synthesis of mRNA. Therefore antisense strand is complementary to the feel strand as well as mRNA (U inwards RNA inwards house of T).
3. The non-coding strand contains anti-codons.
